Non Productive day
It is chilly this morning, after having such nice warm weather here since Christmas I was spoiled and now it is cold again. The new windows help a lot though, even though they aren’t all in as yet, the worst were replaced first and the air does not circulate quite as freely as it once did.
The job market looked pretty dismal yesterday, unless you are a professional or in the medical field you really don’t want to be here. It changes daily so maybe there is still some hope for me after all..
I had a very unproductive day yesterday, it was dark and cold and I hardly stirred to speak of. I did manage a couple of bad pictures that I can’t use for the Scale Auto II project, I really wish I knew why one picture comes out white and the next tan… they looked white in the display.
I started peeling more wall paper on Sunday, attempting to finish my “office”, only to find the wall compound had turned to mold in the bucket. That was new to me as in Colorado I never saw it go bad after years of sitting and waiting for the next project. The walls under the paper are testament to poor workmanship and take some serious elbow grease to flatten out and finish.
Maybe one day I will have ironed out all the “kinks” in this old house, maybe. Once all the windows are in I will have to go back and fix the interior of each one, since the windows had to be re-framed somewhat and new Sheetrock will be needed to cover the framing.
Time to get productive…
